We are certain, you will love knowing him just as much as we did.

Hi, Shahbaz. How are you?

Hello, I am fine, all is well, hope everything is good at your end too?

Thanks, Shahbaz! Could you tell us a little about yourself?

Well, I am Shahbaz Khan Niazi – a Professional wearer of many hats- my freelance expertise is in the world of Business Data Analyst, Digital Marketer, Search Engine Optimizer & Project Management. I service clients from across the globe ranging from market-leading research firms to Venture Capital firms, from marketing agencies to SMEs.

Great to know. What is your biggest achievement so far?

My biggest achievement is that I created Spectre from a small blog to a corporate sector at a very young age (18), even after 3 years of zero net income we managed to save it and produced multiple streams from the company (Spectre). So yeah!! Well among many others this was my finest decision that paid off.

What inspires you the most?

Well, what inspires me the most is a bee which is always busy making and grind what it produces and the second thing that inspires me is the act of insect which is a hustler even when they take the load greater than themselves, after failures, they tend to cross the border.

Elon’s multiple failures, Jeff’s start with zero income, JK Rowling no book sold, coke with 12 bottles sold in a year are the failures that inspire the less in fortune. So these few abstractions are the key points that inspire me the most and drive me to achieve wonders.

And what scares you the most?

Fear of not trying to test the skills that I am blessed with.

How do you handle work-related stress or pressure?

Well dealing with multiple projects simultaneously is very stressful and one gets under pressure very easily. It’s a natural fact. For me, stress occurs when due dates, timelines are not being met. To overcome that, I tend to divide the tasks among the respected team members and often ask for help when things go a little out of hand.

So, how happy are you with your career right now?

I am so happy, that at the moment I am writing multiple answers to the questions, and enjoying filling this form along with some light music and a cup of coffee.

Plus, failures are the part of life you learn from it or you run from it. So, one is better than the other.

What brings you satisfaction as a Marketing person?

Well, even before opting for my specialization I always wanted to see how individuals tend to perceive one thing after another from every angle. I always wanted to read human psychology when the time they tend to make a decision to buy or sell something, it really attracted me since my dad sold his first car, I remember I was 11 at that time and I tended to ask myself what features attracted him to make this decision.

I am satisfied every time I tend to learn more about humans and their interactions with objects.

How easy or difficult was it for you to get your first job?

Well, it was easy, because I was learning a new skill in Digital Marketing and had multiple openings on it so I opted for it and got in. Moral; always looks for skills the company is looking for that will make you multiple opportunities.

What are your ideas on entrepreneurship?

For a country like Pakistan, it needs it badly. According to John Harvard; creating a job is a lot easier than finding a job. It’s simple math; you tend to make more demand that leads to more supply. So more companies will lead to more employment. I believe personally that even if in 2021 you don’t know how to operate a PC; you have wasted your entire life working for things you never needed. Starting a business in 2021 is too easy than finding jobs. You have a job; good! But you know what’s cool; millions! “Make a Social Media Management skill” – Tai Lopez. The simplest thing you can make, make a damn Shopify store all you need is a cell phone, Wi-Fi & laptop. Pouring your dad’s money on levis. Netflix, Xbox crap, well you are one step away from the line of poverty. Make something, build something. Get out of your comfort zone. Invest one hour in yourself daily. 7 hours a week. Period; drop!

What are your key strengths?

Disciplined, Communication Skills, Ability to Motivate, Possess Leadership Skills, Accountable, Resilient and Patience, Good Problem-Solver and Decision-Maker.

What are your weaknesses?

Procrastination, ignore little things that lead to chaos, covering tasks at the 11th hour

How do you celebrate success?

Collectivistic approach, with the team, directors, and staff who helped me in covering the desired task. We tend to go out maybe; a good restaurant, a trip to the north, depends on the nature of the task.

How do you cope with failures?

As mentioned it’s a part of life, failures also lead to new tracks, new expeditions.

This is the part where the unsatisfied customer comes in; as they say, the customer is always right. So I tend to make sure that it stays that way.

What motivates you to do your best?

Well, I am totally driven by results. I tend to like it when I have concrete objectives & goals to meet and have enough time to figure a strong strategy for accomplishing them. For instance, in Jan. Feb, March, June, July & August we have multiple orders coming in, but I worked with our team and managing members to figure out a month-to-month strategy for meeting the quarter-end number. It was a real deal of thrill to accomplish that.

What is your biggest accomplishment?

Well one too many; but the best, some of our customers were from our competitors, they were really unsatisfied. Well, we did what we do best! Satisfied the most unsatisfied.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Well, some of my goals in the next years are to lead an entire team of professionals and gaining new skills in the field of Digital Marketing and Project Management. I am really excited about the new opportunities I get every day and to go through them. I know they will support my long-term career goals as well and will make me utilize the skills that I have gained.

One inspiring quote you want to share?

“Optimism, pessimism, beat that; we’re going to make it happen. As God is my witness, I’m hell-bent on making it work” – Elon Musk

Your advice for newbies?

People buy attitude, skills can be taught. Have an attitude to learn and that is the skill that will lead you to glory.

Thanks, Shahbaz for your time. It was great talking to you. Have a nice day!
